The KENNARD Diversity Committee is partnering with EyeSeeMe, a bookstore specializing in multicultural literature for children, to host a book fair at Kennard next week! This is a great opportunity for students to buy books by and about people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
The book fair will start on October 17th and will be open during parent-teacher conferences for your convenience. In addition, purchases can be made online. See below for the full schedule and online book fair information.
This book fair will also be a fundraiser for the Diversity Committee; the Committee plans to use the money raised to fund events focused on promoting diversity and inclusion at our school. We will receive 10% of sales if total sales are less than $2,000 and 15% if the sales are greater than $2,000. This is a terrific chance for us to raise money, and we need your help to make it a success!
The Online Book Fair opens Sunday October 15 and will run through October 22 at www.eyeseeme.com. Use code, KENNARDBF, at checkout. Feel free to share this information with grandparents, family, and friends in town and out of town to help stock your child’s bookshelf.
