NEHS Donation Drive to Benefit Stray Rescue and Tenth Life

Are you a dog lover?

Do cats make you smile?

The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) is sponsoring a pet donation drive to support no-kill shelters in our area.  We have chosen to support Stray Rescue for dogs and Tenth Life for cats.

We will collect supplies for these organizations beginning Monday, January 8th through  FridayJanuary 26th

Most needed cat items:  dry and canned kitten and cat food, cat treats, catnip, cat toys, scoopable litter, pet carriers, nail clippers, scratching posts, gently used fleece blankets and towels, cat brushes, sturdy bowls, air fresheners, and various office supplies

Most needed dog items:  dye-free detergent, fabric softener, spray cleaners, gently used towels and blankets, paper towels, Blue Buffalo food and treats, Kong toys, Nylabones, and no-slip collars

To make this fundraiser even more exciting, we are turning this into a competition to show who gets more love- dogs or cats.  We will keep track of the number of items received for dogs and the number of items received for cats and announce the winner at the end of the drive.  If your donation isn’t animal specific, please label it “dog” or “cat” to show which is your favorite.  Our goal is to have 100% participation with every student bringing in at least one item for the drive.  If you can’t decide, donate to both.

Thank you in advance for showing your love for cats and dogs,

The National Elementary Honor Society
